Arsenal FC legend Ian Wright has criticized his former side following their shock 3-2 loss at the hands of Olympiakos in the group stage of Champions League.
The North London outfit lost their second consecutive game of Champions League and now risk missing out on making it to the knockout stages for the first time in 16 years.
Speaking after the match, the former Arsenal FC striker expressed his disappointment over the defensive frailties in the Gunners’ side. The Englishman also highlighted that the recent defeats may force Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez to question his position at the club and the 26-year-old might consider his options when the transfer window arrives.
Wright also criticized Arsenal FC’s schoolboy like defending in the defeat. The Gunners next play Bayern Munich twice in the Champions League and any hopes of making it to the group stages rest if they are able to get some points against the Bavarians.
