As Liverpool FC slumped to their first defeat under Jurgen Klopp’s reign, the German cleverly turned around a phrase from the famous club anthem ‘You’ll never walk alone’.
Only difference is that Klopp said that he did indeed feel “alone” after he saw some fans leaving before the final whistle.
The Liverpool FC fans on Twitter did not take this well however, criticising their fellow Reds supporters who supposedly abandoned their team in the dying minutes of the match. Here are some reactions from the Liverpool FC Twitterati.
