Real Madrid’s Jekyll & Hyde season continued in full swing after they annihilated 9-men Rayo Vallecano by plundering 10 goals past them at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Real Madrid took the lead in the third minute through right back Danilo, but immediately went behind 9 minutes later as Rayo took a shock lead through goals from Antonio Amaya and Jozabed. Rayo were reduced to 9 men just 29 mins into the match after Tito and Jose Raul Baena were sent off by the referee in controversial fashion.
Los Merengues made full use of the 2-man advantage and ran riot in the remainder of the match, as they plundered 9 more goals past hapless Rayo Vallecano. Gareth Bale scored 4 goals, Benzema got a hat-trick and Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a brace as Los Blancos reached within 2 points of league leaders FC Barcelona.
Interestingly, Real Madrid fans booed the players and the manager at half time and at the end of the match despite their emphatic win over Rayo.

I very much 10-2 (tend to) be inclined not to be Rayo Vallecano at the moment! Because they’re losing 10-2 to Real Madrid. a Nooruddean (@BeardedGenius) December 20, 2015
