24-year-old winger Andros Townsend is a highly rated young English player, but has had a fallout with manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton would be the perfect fit for him, according to pundit Gordon Watson.
Andros Townsend is a prime example of how a footballer’s career can hit a roadblock if he is on bad terms with his manager. The highly rated winger seemed to have a bright future, but has been on the fringes of the Tottenham squad after falling out of favour with manager Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino has said that Townsend is free to leave the club in the January transfer window.

Pundit Gordon Watson has urged Southampton FC to snap up the player. The Saints are going through a rough patch and manager Ronald Koeman has expressed a desire to invest in an attacking player in January.
