Arsenal have been playing captivating football this season, with Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey coming to the fore for Wenger’s side, as they are having to deal with a number of injury issues. The Gunners are currently placed second in the Premier League with 33 points, two behind leaders Leicester City.

‘Real test’ against Man City

Many pundits around the world are just waiting for the Gunners’ bubble to burst, as it usually does at this time of the calendar year and Thierry Henry takes cognisance of that by admitting that Arsenal’s real test will be against the big teams, starting with Man City on Monday.

“The real test and what I want to see if how Arsenal cope with Man City, how they cope stopping them on the counter if they come and sit. Who knows?”, Henry said, as reported by skysports.

On Flamini

Henry also highlighted the importance of Mathieu Flamini to Arsene Wenger’s side given their current injury woes.

“Flamini is doing well at the minute, imagine if Flamini left, and it looked like that was the plan at the beginning of the season,” added Henry.

“Thank god he stayed because look what happened to [Santi] Cazorla and what happen to Francis Coquelin.”

Could this be Arsenal’s season?

Arsenal last won the Premier League eleven years ago. But since then, after alarming the top teams in the first half of the campaign, Arsene Wenger’s men haven’t been able to last till the end. Again this season, Arsenal FC are threatening to end their draught. However, as Henry rightly pointed out, it is the big teams that they have to prove their mettle against.

Arsenal fans would think this is a golden chance to bring the title to the Emirates, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City struggling to find speedy momentum so far this season.
