Former Chelsea FC manager Jos Mourinho is in Brazil at the moment according to his agent Jorge Mendes, who has urged his client to be calm about his future
Jos Mourinho has been out of a job for just over 10 days, and already it seems as though there is increased pressure on managers at the two biggest clubs in the world in Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Louis van Gaal is experiencing his worst spell as United manager, and by all accounts, is on the brink of an exit from Old Trafford, with Mourinho heavily linked to make the switch from London to Manchester. Meanwhile, Rafael Ben tez has endured a poor few months with Real Madrid despite some positive results, and the Spaniard’s major issues have had more to do with the discord between him and the playing staff.
However, super-agent Jorge Mendes has insisted that his client has not held any talks with teams in England, Spain or Italy, and is in no hurry to make a decision regarding his future.
“Right now hea s in Brazil, we’ll see what happens when he gets back,” Mendes is quoted as saying by Goal . . “At the moment we haven’t been talking about England, Spain or Italy.
“He only needs to be calm and not worry about anything – he’s the best manager in the world.”
Mourinho’s final Chelsea FC season will do little harm to his job prospects
Although there is no doubt that the first few months of Chelsea’s 2015-16 season will remain an indelible black mark on Mourinho’s otherwise remarkably successful managerial career, it seems as though that spell will do little to harm his prospects in the future.
The Portuguese has himself insisted that he is a better manager having gone through that inexplicably bad run of form with the Blues, and given that clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid could well be soon fighting for his signature, the powers that be at those giants might see things the same way.
