Manchester United Looking to 'Unsettle' Sergio Ramos?

Real Madrid and Spain defender Sergio Ramos has been in news for being disgruntled at his club. He has been linked with Manchester United for a while and the club’s interest in the player is there.

However, many have said that Ramos and his agent brother are simply doing this to get the contract extension and wage increase the defender has demanded from Florentino Perez and by the end, the 29 year-old will stay at the club.

.

However, Real Madrid’s mouthpiece Marca claim the player is not interested in staying at the club even if he gets a new contract with a significant wage increase.

Marca state that the Spanish international is set on leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, but his decision to leave the club is not for financial benefits. The report goes on to say that the World Cup winner is not interested in a contract extension at all and feels he needs to move away from the club where he came as a 19 year old.

According to the same report, Ramosa s relationship with Real president Perez and the club has come to a stage where it is damaged beyond repair and he feels it is unwise to continue with Los Blancos at such a stage.

According to BBC Sport, Manchester United did bidA?28.6m for the centre back, but the side will have to increase the offer for Real Madrid to sell their prized asset.

It is believed that Valencia’s Otamendi, who looked set for a move to Old Trafford some weeks back, has been tipped as the number one replacement for Ramos.
