FC Barcelona’s superstar Neymar has been out of action for sometime as he was down with mumps. However, the Brazilian striker has taken Twitter by storm following reports that his alleged agent was spotted at the Old Trafford.
Manchester United have been linked with almost all superstars in the game given their financial clout. From Cristiano Ronaldo to Thomas Muller, the Red Devils have seen the media speculate about them all. Fresh reports in English media has now linked the English giants with a move for FC Barcelona superstar Neymar.
The alleged international agent of the Brazilian, Pini Zahavi was in attendance at Old Trafford as Manchester United’s winning start came to a halt. But there is a simple flaw in the statement – Neymar switched agents from Pini Zahavi to Wagner Ribeiro a couple of years ago.
Following the drab draw against Newcastle United, Louis Van Gaal refused to comment on the recent speculation regarding Neymar. However, his actual agent Wagner Ribeiro has categorically denied any chance of the transfer happening.
The Red Devils have seen a number of top targets sign for rivals in recent times, including Pedro and Nicolas Otamendi. In light of recent events, fans took to Twitter to mock the Red Devils pursuit of another superstar they failed to sign.
