Reports in Spain had claimed it earlier that Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Marco Reus. However, no deal has been made yet but Real Madrid are confident of getting their man in the summer.
Real Madrid management is reluctant to offer an extension to Sami Khedira as the concerns over his fitness still remain. Real Madrid are also well stocked in midfield as they have the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Isco and Asier Illaramendi in their squad.

The contract of Sami Khedira is set to expire in 2017. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had claimed it earlier that he wants the player to sign the extension but no progress has been made as both the parties to unwilling to open the talks. The central midfielder is almost certain to leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window now. Host of top European clubs, including Arsenal and Bayern Munich, are interested in his signature.
The situation of Marco Reus at Borussia Dortmund is quite similar to that of Sami Khedira at Real Madrid.
Marco Reusa contract at Borussia Dortmund is going to expire in 2017. The Signal Iduna Park side has made many attempts to persuade Marco Reus to sign the extension but the player has made up his mind. He wants to leave the club.
