Real Madrid came back to the winning ways by beating Espanyol by three goals at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Goals by James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and Nacho helped the Los Blancos beat Espanyol.
James Rodriguez scored with the help of a brilliant pass by Cristiano Ronaldo in the 12th minute while Gareth Bale doubled Real Madrida s lead with a fine free kick in 28th minute.
Fabio Coentrao was sent off for a nasty collision with Canas in the second half but Nacho scored in 76th minute to ensure the easy victory for Real Madrid.
