According to reports in France, French international midfielder Paul Pogba is tipped to join either Real Madrid or FC Barcelona in the coming season. Paul Pogba who has been in a scintillating form since the last season, is on several European clubs’ radar. Premier League giants Manchester United, where Paul Pogba played his youth football is believed to be interested in buying him back from Juventus FC. Among the other top clubs, Paris Saint-Germain, Real and FC Barcelona are also keen on signing the young talented footballer.
If rumours are to be believed, both the La Liga giants are ready to offer him a huge package of a 10 million/year and a humongous transfer fee of a 80 million. Pogba apparently wants to join either of the La Liga sides ignoring the offers from both Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United.
The only potential road block, that could deter Real Madrid from signing the french international, is with his image rights. Real Madrid in general, want 50% of a player’s image rights, but in the case of the French star, his image rights are with his former adviser Tanazefti.
If FC Barcelona decide to rope in Pogba, the player will not be able to sign for the club until next January as the La Liga champions are serving a transfer ban.
Paul Pogba has scored a total of 10 goals this season for Juventus and provided 5 assists. He could prove to be a very good buy for either of Real Madrid or FC Barcelona. The player is extremely hardworking and plays a pivotal role in the midfield. He has the ability to play both as a deep lying midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder whenever required.
Previous reports had suggested that Manchester United were eager to bring Paul Pogba back. United would be looking for a long term replacement of Michael Carrick as well as strengthen their midfield with an ‘enforcer’. Paul Pogba, could be an answer, to United’s requirements, should he choose to ignore Real Madrid or Barcelona.
