Inter Manager Roberto Mancini believes Mateo Kovacic will stay, despite the Italian media constantly linking the Croatian with a move to Liverpool FC
Mateo Kovacic had emerged as a serious target for Brendan Rodgers if Italian media are to be believed with reports stating as far as that the personal terms between the player and Liverpool FC had been agreed, too.
However, Roberto Mancini has poured cold waters on the rumors, firmly stating that Mateo Kovacic is seen as the future star of the Serie A team.

The Croatian media were earlier reporting of an agreement between the player and Liverpool FC had been reached with clubs yet to agree a fee despite a 21 million Euro offer by Liverpool.
The report said that Inter were looking for a fee closer to the 25 million Euro mark having refused a similar bid from FC Barcelona last summer.

Mateo Kovacic had signed for Inter Milan in January 2013 from Dinamo Zagreb for 11 million Euros and since then, has gone onto show that why was he such highly regarded back in his homeland when the Milan club came calling.
