Mario Gotze Calls Juventus “A Big Big Club” Amidst Rumours Of A Transfer

Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze has admitted that he could be tempted by a move away from the Allianz Arena at a later point of time, amidst strong rumors of a move to Juventus.

Gotze had signed for the Bavarians in 2013, however, he has been reportedly unsettled for some time now, and Juventus are reportedly interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old. Earlier Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had rubbished claims of a swap deal with Juventus, involving Gotze and Arturo Vidal.

I think that playing abroad might be a good experience for me: Mario Gotze

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Juventus, with the Old Lady looking to sign a No. 10 in this transfer window, after the transfer of Andrea Pirlo and the imminent departure of Arturo Vidal, would leave them light in the attacking midfield department.

Gotze in an interview with Goal, said- “I think that Juventus reached the Champions League final not by chance but because they had a great season last year.

“They managed to win titles in the last year and they are a big, big club. But, at the moment, I don’t want to comment because there’s nothing to say – at the moment.

“I think that playing abroad might be a good experience for me: new languages, new cultures. I might like it. But, as I said, I’m just at the early stage of my career. Let’s see what the future brings.”

Earlier this month the Bavarians were criticized by Gotze’s aget Volker Struth for not supporting the German enough last season. He said:

“Of course I would have liked if Mario had felt more support in one or two situations.

“I am fully convinced that when Mario feels this support, it is easier for him to show his incredible potential. Then he is one of the best players in the world.”

.

Gotze was benched for crucial matches including Bayern’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona and DFB-Pokal sem-final against Bayern, on which his agent added:

“Of course he was disappointed and that did bother him. As a player, you are always wondering ‘why did I not start?'”

Is it the end of Gotze’s Germany stay?

Mario Gotze, is currently regarded as one of the best No. 10’s in the world, having last year won Germany the World Cup, with his extra-time goal against Argentina. With the player felling unsettled, or rather undervalued, chances are he would be looking to move to a club where he’s valued greatly.

Arsenal FC were interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old before he signed for Bayern, and if he becomes available again, the Gunners would definitely make a move for him again. Juventus are also interested in signing a No. 10, with Gotze being a top-target. With Gotze possibly hinting to a move away from Bayern, the 23-year-old’s Germany stay might be coming to an end.
