Manchester United To Launch Bid For Harry Kane: Report

Ed Woodward, the Manchester United Executive Vice Chairman, is keen to sign the Tottenham forward according to reports in Manchester Evening News.

According to the Manchester based newspaper, Manchester United are prepared to lock horns with Daniel Levy, a man known across the football sphere as a very tough negotiator, to seal a deal for Harry Kane.

Kane has been in sensational form for Tottenham in the 2014-15 season and by the looks of things, is catching attention of Manchester United who are on the hunt for a forward following the departure of Radamel Falcao to Monaco after his loan spell.

.

Falcao, now, is thought to be close to sealing a move to Chelsea FC with manager Jose Mourinho vowing to help the forward retain the form that saw him terrorize defenses during his time at FC Porto and Atletico Madrid.

Harry Kane has recently expressed his desire to become a club legend at Tottenham Hotspur and with just a year of performance to his name, Manchester United would be looking at someone more proven with a European pedigree, given that they have vast resources this summer in the transfer window.

Manchester United share a good rapport with Tottenham. Ed Woodwarda s last dealings with his Tottenham counterpart were brief – failing to sign Bale, despite offering in excess of the world record A?85.3m Real Madrid paid for the Welshman in 2013.

And while, both, Spurs and the player are keen to continue their partnership regardless of any offer on table, Daniel Levy has said in the past that every player has a price.

While the move does look unlikely, Manchester United certainly do have the financial resources to tempt both, the player and his club with an offer they cannot refuse.
