German midfielder Toni Kroos has constantly been linked to Manchester United since 2014 and is reportedly looking for a move away from Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old German had his breakthrough season in 2014 with Bayern Munich and Germany at the FIFA World Cup which earned him a move to Real Madrid, but Kroos has fallen out of favor at Real and seems to be looking for a move away from the Bernabeu.
The Mirror reported that, “Kroos was the only first-team player absent from Madrid’s squad Christmas dinner, held on Wednesday evening at the Fox restaurant… And according to Frederic Hermel on Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, Kroos has instructed his agent, Volker Struth, to find him a new club.”
Kroos to Manchester United
The German was heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils, reportedly agreeing to a deal in principle with the club in 2014, just before David Moyes was sacked. Kroos was also praised by United legend Paul Scholes who said he was a top footballer and the type of player that the club should be looking to get.
The attacking midfielder could well be on the move to the Premier League, but other clubs will also have an eye on him. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City could all do with a player like Kroos. Liverpool is another viable option, especially with their manager Jurgen Klopp having seen Kroos first-hand during his days in the Bundesliga.

The German coach could well have the contacts and reputation to sign Toni Kroos, but then again Manchester United have the German captain Bastian Schweinsteiger who could convince the 25-year-old to head to Old Trafford.
