Liverpool’s Offer Of Balotelli In Cash Plus Player Deal For Kovacic Rejected By Inter

Liverpool need

Liverpool FC‘s offer of Mario Balotelli in a cash plus player deal has been swiftly rejected by Inter Milan, indicate reports from Italy.

There is bound to be one player that is vehemently linked with a club and rumors of which absolutely refuse to go down. Mateo Kovacic is one of the players for this window.

The Croatian starlet has been linked with a move to Liverpool and the Italian media seems adamant about making it happen. There were various reports last week back claiming the Reds had reached an agreement with Inter to sign the player soon. Recent developments, as reported by the Gianluca di Marzio website (considered to be reliable) claim that Liverpool have only shown interest in the 21 year-old and are yet to formalize their interest.

According to Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport . , Liverpool offered Mario Balotelli as part of the deal.
This approach was rebuffed by the Serie A side who only want cash for their prized asset if he were to leave.

Balotelli endured a horrible return to the Premier League and failed to establish himself at Liverpool. The Reds are looking to offload him this season. The Italian spent three seasons at Inter and won the Champions League at the club. He has also worked with Roberto Mancini at Manchester City. Therefore such a report involving the departure of Balotelli and the signing of Kovacic in the process wouldn’t be bizarre to say the least. Regardless, Inter have no interest in signing the player so looks like Liverpool will have to part with a chunk of money to land the Croatian midfielder.
