Liverpool FC Striker Fabio Borini Wants To Leave The Club: Agent

Fabio Borinia s agent has come forward and said that the striker feels like a caged lion at Liverpool and wants to leave the club this summer.

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini wants to depart this summer as his agent claims the Italian wants a new experience. The playera s agent, Marco De Marchi, criticised the Reds over the forwarda s treatment and claimed that Borini feels like a caged lion in Liverpool. De Marchi confirmed that top clubs across Europe are interested in signing the Italian and he wants a team where he will get more chances to feature in the first-team.

a Fabio wants a new experience,” De Marchi told . Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport. “We expected more consideration from Liverpool.

“There are teams from all over Europe interested in him.

“Top clubs in Europe are keen on him, from the Premier League to the Bundesliga and there also clubs in Italy, but many clubs in Italy have had coaching changes and that has slowed things down.

“He has no preference, he just wants a team that gives him a clear chance to prove himself. Right now he feels like a lion in a cage.”

Fabio Borini moved to Liverpool from AS Roma for a reported transfer fee of a 13.3 million in 2012. The forward was then loaned to Sunderland for the 2013-14 season where he scored seven goals in 25 league appearances. Liverpool accepted a A?12 million offer from Sunderland to sign the forward permanently but the 24-year old turned down the move in order to fight for a place in the Liverpool line-up. However, he went on to make only 14 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside club racking up only one goal and one assist in the entire season.

The player has grown frustrated with his role at Liverpool and wants to leave this summer. It is likely that the forwarda s price in the market will drop considering he only has one more year left on his contract. Borinia s agent said that a decision will be made once the Italian returns from his honeymoon.

“His current value is that given by Sunderland last year,” De Marchi said. “However, that figure could be affected by the season he’s had at Liverpool and the fact that in a year his contract runs out.

“For the time being, everything is on standby as the player is currently on his honeymoon but will return shortly.”
