Liverpool FC set to complete their second summer signing in Hungarian International Goalkeeper Adam Bogdan when Bolton contract ends on July 1.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Liverpool FC are set to sign the Bolton Goalkeeper who impressed against the Merseysiders in the 4th round of the FA Cup as a cover for Simon Mignolet.

.

The 27-year-old Hungary international has admitted to the Hungarian media that he ready to make a move away from Bolton Wanderers, refusing a new contract offer at the Championship club.

Bogdan told Nemzeti Sport: “I am confident that I will soon decide my fate.”

“My goal is to play at a higher level, but it also depends on where you get a chance. We’ll see if everything is decided in the next week or two.”

Liverpool FC have released their 2nd choice goalkeeper, Australian Brad Jones, and were in the market for a new no 2. They were linked to Fiorentina’s Brazilian Goalkeeper Neto, but, that move now appears to be dead with Neto preferring a move to Italian giants Juventus.

Having already completed the free transfer signing of James Milner from Manchester City, Liverpool FC aim to secure Bogdan as well negotiating a deal for Burnley striker Danny Ings, who is out of contract at Turf Moor, and Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne.

Bogdan has been a regular at Bolton for four seasons and was part of the side which went down to the Championship in 2012. He has established himself as one of the leaguea s more reliable goalkeepers and is known for his good shot-stopping

But, a cause for concern is regarding his fitness having missed plenty of time last season through injury, playing just nine league games. And with his long passing listed as weakness, it is a strange choice from Liverpool FC given their style of play is to build from the back.
