Liverpool FC: Jordan Ibe Cancels Vacation To Train With Kenny Dalglish

Liverpool FC winger Jordon Ibe has cancelled his vacation to train with none other than the legendary Kenny Dalglish to help him take his game to the next level.

The 19-year-old winger, who should currently be on holiday, has asked the cluba s Academy director Alex Inglethorpe to help arrange some extra sessions to work on his finishing.

And according to Liverpool Echo, one chance conversation between Kenny Dalglish and Alex Inglethorpe later led to the extra training session as Dalglish got straight off a plane today to help out the promising young winger.

Inglethorpe told the ECHO: a Kenny Dalglish came in this morning and worked with Jordon Ibe and myself on a little bit of finishing. Kenny literally just got a plane and came straight here.”

a This is driven by Jordon. Hea s the one who wanted to come in and do a bit more. Hea s the one who wanted to work on a few things.”

a Ita s incredible really. By chance I was just speaking to Kenny about something else. He landed at the airport at 10am and he was in here at 10.30am with his kit on and the boots on.

a He was working with Jordon, passing some fantastic pieces of advice as youa d expect. There were four or five of the U16s as well. What a day for an U16 a working with Kenny Dalglish, Jordon Ibe, on a beautiful sunny day, doing some good work.a

It was a fantastic year for Jordan Ibe, breaking through in the Liverpool FC first team after being recalled from a very good spell on loan at Championship side Derby in January transfer window.

The English winger could have clocked up a lot more than his 14 appearances had it not been for a knee injury against Besiktas in the Europa League tie.

.

Ibe has just committed his future to Liverpool FC, signing a new long term deal and if he continues to display the same attitude on and off the field as he is doing currently, he is sure to fulfill the massive potential that is evident everytime the winger touches the ball.
