Andre Ayew’s career trajectory has shot up considerably after the Ghanaian forward’s move to Swansea City, in spite of the club’s current struggles in the league. In fact, Liverpool FC is reportedly looking to sign the former Olympique Marseille forward as early as the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old moved to the Welsh club from Marseille in the summer, after he let his contract run out at the French club. However, just six months into his career at Swansea, Ayew seems to have already attracted the interest of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, according to Daily Express.

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been trying to sign Ayew for quite some time now, and he seems to have continued his interest in the forward, even after moving to the Premier League from Germany.
In fact, the former Borussia Dortmund manager had been impressed by the Ghanaian forward even when he was at Dortmund, and had reportedly tried to sign him at the Bundesliga club.
Klopp joined Liverpool FC last month after the club sacked its former manager Brendan Rodgers, and has been trying to revive the Reds’ form ever since. The January transfer window would be the first chance that he would get to get the players he wants, and Ayew could well be his first singning, according to many reports.

Jurgen Klopp is known for having a rather keen eye for talent, as he has brought out stars like Robert Lewandowski, Shinji Kagawa, Ilkay Gundogan, and Mats Hummels from relative footballing obscurity at Dortmund, and he would be looking to do more of that at Liverpool FC too.
He had had his eyes set on Ayew for a long time, and might well end up signing the Ghanaian, who has been one of the few silver linings for an otherwise grey cloud hanging over Swansea. It would be interesting to see whether the 25-year-olduses Gary Monk’s team as a launching-pad, to get into a bigger club (although the Ghanaian has claimed that he has had offers from “big clubs” before joining the Swans).
