Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Newcastle United youngster Olivier Kemen, and the Reds are currently fighting off interest from Mauricio Pochettinoa s side for the playera s signing, according to La Equipe.

Liverpoola s last season was extremely disappointing and it is clear now that the management is keen to get in players quickly so that they have a whole pre-season to prepare. The Reds, who boast a prestigious academy, are seemingly keen to make both investments for the current senior squad as well as for the future at the moment and have signed six senior players and three youngsters in a busy transfer window.

Newcastle starlet Olivier Kemen could be the next arrival if the Reds were successfully able to defeat Spurs to his signature.

The 18 year-old midfielder was signed by Newcastle from Lens two years ago and could make a debut for Newcastle soon. He was in the squad for Newcastle’s 3-0 loss to Everton and John Carver then said that the player could be introduced to first team action soon.

Carver said, a He is learning and working with the group. Hea s got the temperament. We just need to look after his personality. He can be a bit lively.a

Liverpool or Spurs will be a more attractive option for the youngster.
