Kolo Toure May Move Out Of Liverpool FC This Summer Due To Lack Of First Team Appearances

Liverpool FC center back Kolo Toure has revealed that he may plan to make a move out of the club at the end of this season. The Cote da Ivoire international runs out of contract after the current season conclude. Initially, it was speculated that the defender may sign a yeara s contract extension with Liverpool but now it seems that lack of first team appearances is making him consider his future at the club.

Toure said: a Ita s been a difficult season for all the team and everyone at the club as we havena t done as well as last season.

a For me, therea s a decision to be taken. I am looking around and seeing whata s best for my family. Ia m talking with my wife to see what that decision will be.

a Ita s a difficult decision because since Ia ve been here things have been good. Ia ve really enjoyed it, even though ita s difficult when you dona t play a lot.

a Ia m a competitor and I want to play more.

a Maybe when the season is over it will be easier to be relaxed and think about whata s the project and whata s the cluba s plan for you. Things can happen very quickly in football. In two or three days your future can be decided.a

Kolo Toure, since joining The Reds in 2013, has made 44 appearances for the Merseyside club. Due to poor performance in the backline, Brendan Rodgers has demoted him to the bench since the beginning of the year.
