Juventus are reportedly planning to make a move for 31-year old Bayern Munich defender Dante. The Brazilian was one of Bayerna s important players during their treble-winning campaign under Jupp Heynckes in 2013.

After the arrival of Guardiola, Dante continued to be a first-team regular but his performances have deteriorated towards the end of the season. Bayern Munich might be ready to offload the centre-back for around a 7 million and Bild reports that Juventus are ready to cough up the amount for the defender.

It is also believed that Juventus might have to fend off interest from Manchester United to sign the Brazilian. The Serie A champions are looking for reinforcements in the defencefollowing the injury woes of Andrea Barzagli.

Dante joined Bayern Munich from Borussia M nchengladbach for a fee believed to be in the region of a 4.7 million. The Brazilian became an instant favourite of the manager Jupp Heynckes and was one of the first names in the starting line-up under the German.

Dante recently extended his contract with Bayern Munich, keeping him at the club till 2017. The defender was a first-team regular under Pep Guardiola and made 39 appearances for the Bundesliga champions this season. However, Mehdi Benatiaa s rising form and a dip in Dantea s performance may see him getting offloaded to a suitable bidder.
