Juventus Says They Are Not Selling Dybala, Morata — Sound Warnings To Real Madrid

Juventus strikers Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata have been attracting interest from some of the top clubs in Europe with their stellar performances, but the Bianconeri are not ready to sell them at any cost.

Morata has put in stellar performances for Juventus since his move from Spanish giants Real Madrid, while Argentinian forward Dybala has been one of their best forwards of the season. The latter has been instrumental in Juventus’ comeback to form in the Serie A.

However, club director Giuseppe Marotta has warned the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to keep their hands off the Old Lady’s prized possessions as Juventus are not looking to sell the two young strikers.

a He is a player who is improving and still hasna t expressed his full potential, because he is so young,a Marotta was quoted saying to Mediaset Premium, about Dybala. [via Eurosport].

a Week by week he is showing what he can do, but we have no intention of selling him this year or any other year. We invested a lot of money in him and he represents the foundation to build on in future.a

The Morata contract situation

Meanwhile, Juventus have shown their confidence in Morata by offering him a contract extension that keeps him at the club for another four and a half years.

However, that contract does not really mean anything, as Real Madrid still have a buy-back clause on the player. While the Spaniard’s move set Juventus back by a reported sum of a 20 million, the buy-back clause is set to earn the Italian champion a hefty amount of profit.

The Old Lady is not selling

In spite of the huge profit that they might generate, Juventus do not want to sell Morata, says their club director. In fact, he says that the club is currently in talks with the Los Blancos to try and hammer-out a deal that removes the buy-back clause from Morata’s contract.

.

a It wona t make any difference, ita s just that if he remains with us then ita s only right to invest in a player who has plenty of quality. We will enter negotiations with Real Madrid as soon as possible to resolve this situation and can make it transparent,” said Marotta.

a We hope to remove this clause. Real Madrid are well aware that he is a player who was promising and is now to all intents and purposes a star.a
