Jurgen Klopp Reveals Plan For January Transfer Window

Believing that the current squad deserves the chance to prove itself, Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club has no plan to bring in players in the January transfer window.

The German took over at Anfield amidst high expectation from the fans following the sacking of manager Brendan Rodgers.

The general consensus among the fans has been a positive one for the German, who has massively improved Liverpool FC over the past few weeks, taking them as high as within six points off the top of the table.

Klopp gives current squad the vote of confidence

“It’s much more important to work with people and if you trust them they have to feel it — and not just for two days but for a longer time,” Klopp was quoted saying to the Telegraph ahead of the West Ham tie.

“That’s not how the world should run. If we have problems it’s not with quality, it’s maybe with concentration or other things. But we don’t know if players we get will do it better. I’d give the advice to stay cool and see what happens.

Klopp unsure of winter spree

Revealing that he was not sure if the Reds would sign a new player in the January transfer window, Klopp added: “If we need something we will do it, not talk about it before. In this moment I don’t think about it. No one should be in doubt that we are prepared for any situation. We have 24 hours always at work.

“We always watch players on video but if we take them in winter, in summer or never I don’t know at this moment.”

Having lost a bit of momentum that Klopp had picked up with couple of loses in the last four Premier League games, Liverpool will be hoping to beat West Brom and close the gap to the top four, which still remains at six points.
