JesAi?? Rodriguez Pondering Real Madrid Future: Spanish Report

Real Madrid youngster, Jes Rodriguez, is frustrated with the lack of playing time and is questioning his future with the Spanish giants.

AS reports, Real Madrid forward Jes Rodriguez, who turns 22-years old today, might be thinking of a future away from the Spanish giants. The forward has grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of playing time he has been getting under Carlo Ancelotti.

Jes is a product of Real Madrida s youth setup and became a part of the first team last season. He had a tremendous impact last season and was one of Ancelottia s go-to men on the bench, whenever the coach needed fresh legs on the pitch. However, an injury in January 2014 ruled him out of action for close to nine months.

Jes , since his return from injury, was expected to be utilized by Ancelotti the same way he did last season. However, the Spaniard has been deprived of playtime as Ancelotti rarely rotates his starting line-up and almost always waits for the final 15 minutes of the game to make substitutions. Jes Rodriguez returned from injury on 2nd December 2014 in a match against Cornell and scored a goal on his return. Since then, the forward has been used rather sparingly by Ancelotti. Jes has received even less playing-time than Illarramendi, who does may not feature in the list of Ancelottia s important players. Illarramendi has played 428 minutes more than Jes since he returned from injury.

It is believed that the incident last Sunday, in a match against Elche, may have helped Jes realize that he might have to move away from Real Madrid, in search of regular football. The forward, who was warming up for most of the second half, was brought on by Ancelotti as his last substitution with just 30 seconds of game left to play. This is believed to have angered Jes .

The Spaniard has been linked with Everton, who at the end of last month, enquired about the possibility of taking the young attacker on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Real Madrid are linked with a move to Marco Reus and if the German does arrive at the Bernabeu, it will become harder for Jes to get himself regular action. However, it does not seem like Real Madrid will make Chicharitoa s loan move permanent and Alvaro Morata also may not return to the club any time soon. If Real Madrid do not buy an attacker in the summer, the club will definitely not allow Jes to leave and the youngster might get more play-time as well.
