Kerala Blaster manager Peter Taylor will have the ignominy of being the first manger to be sacked in the Hero Indian Super League.
The second edition of the Hero Indian Super League saw Kerala Blasters become the first team to lose four consecutive match after Kerala Blasters lost to FC Pune City on Tuesday, despite taking the lead as early as on 51st second of the match.
Peter Taylor had to pay a heavy price for the four consecutive deafeats as the management decided it was best to part ways. The development caught everyone by surprise with Mihir Vasavda of the Indian Express being one of the earliest to report on Kerala Blasters decision to part ways with the Englishman Peter Taylor.
Vasavda tweeted that Talyor would be leaving with immediate effect following a ‘mutual decision’ and the Head Coach Trevor Morgan will be taking over the responsibilities

Kerala Blasters, who ended by being the runners up in the inaugural edition of the Hero Indian Super League, kicked off the season with an impressive 3-1 victory over NorthEast United FC following it up with a goalless draw against a team that had a host of attacking options in Mumbai City FC.
Kerala Blasters then faced the defending champions Atletico de Kolkata, who despite having a host of injury concerns, made little work of the last season finalists but the side from Kerala did manage to score a consolation goal in the dying embers of the game.
Having won one and drawn one at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, The Blasters welcomed the team from the capital but succumbed to defeat after conceding a late goal. Blasters then travelled to Goa to face the Guars and succeeded in taking the lead but failed to maintain the lead.
Taylor insistence on continuing to stick with his 5-3-2 approach seems have led to his downfall with players failing to understanding to his tactical approach. Rumours also has it that the players had complained to Taylor to tinker with the tactic to stop the porous nature of the Kerala defence.
