It is believed that Casillas does not want to pose a problem for the club as his legendary status helped him regain the first-team spot he had once lost to Diego Lopez.

It is believed that Casillas has a lot of offers from various clubs across Europe. However, despite the awaited arrival of De Gea and the high probability of losing his first-team spot in the team, Casillas has always maintained that he would like to finish his career in Madrid. The 2010 World Cup winner has a contract with the club till 2017 and if he does not wish to move, Real Madrid may not be keen on forcing him out by paying him his contract dues.
