Focussed Anthony Martial Unfazed By Transfer Pressure, Aims To Reach Thierry Henry Level

Manchester United sensation Anthony Martial says he remains unfazed by the frenzy surrounding his record-breaking transfer fee and aims to reach the level of Thierry Henry by continuing to work hard.

 

Manchester United raised more than a few eyebrows when they snapped up French teenager Anthony Martial in a 36m GBP deal from Monaco.

The forward had played only 11 full games for the French principality side before being snapped up by the English giants, making him the most expensive teenager in history the process.

Martial to try and reach Henry level

The French forward was compared to Thierry Henry due to his pace and the tendency to drift towards the left to get involved in play. The Monaco connection only enhances the view.

However, Martial admits that he is still some way off the level of the forward and will be working hard to reach that level.

Martial unfazed by transfer fee pressure

Martial had scored four times in his first four games at for the Old Trafford: a It did not bother me too much. It was more my family with all that was written in the newspapers and what was said. I was just in a hurry to go to Manchester and play football.
