FC Barcelona have planned a lavish outlay of cash for the acquisition of new talents in January and, as a part of this plan, the Catalans are ready to raid Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal, for the signatures of Ander Herrera and Hector Bellerin respectively.

The Blaugrana are currently banned from signing any new player by the football governing body FIFA. FC Barcelona are looking in great shape at the moment but considering the possible departures of the likes of Xavi Hernandez, Dani Alves and Pedro Rodriguez, coach Luis Enrique has already asked Sporting Director Ariedo Braida to look for new talent in the market.

Ander Herrera, 25, moved to Manchester United from Athletic Bilbao for 29 million pounds in the summer of 2014. The talented midfielder has impressed everybody in Premier League with his mature displays for Manchester United in his debut season.

Luis Enrique is closely watching the progress of Ander Herrera and he is quite impressed with what he has seen so far.

The biggest obstacle which might come in the way of FC Barcelona in their chase of Ander Herrera is the reluctance of Manchester United to get rid of their man. But, FC Barcelona authorities believe that Ander Herrera himself is interested in playing at Camp Nou and he could convince the management of Manchester United to let him go.

The contract of Dani Alves is set to expire in June and FC Barcelona management is convinced that he is not going to extend the same. Hector Bellerin has impressed everybody with his fine displays for Arsenal this season and the Catalan club is confident of luring him away in January.

Meanwhile, reports coming from Spain and England have also confirmed the plans of FC Barcelona for Ander Herrera and Hector Bellerin.

Sunday People has claimed in its story that Ander Herrera and Hector Bellerin have emerged as targets for FC Barcelona – whose transfer embargo is lifted in January.
