FC Barcelona Set To Sign Seville’s Aleix Vidal For ai??i??10m: Sport

 

FC Barcelona are set to sign the Spanish right wingback Aleix Vidal from Seville in a a 10m despite the current transfer ban.

Spanish newspaper Sport report that the deal is expected to be announced in the coming days and Vidala s arrival would appear to confirm that Dani Alves is indeed going to leave the club. Vidal is expected to sign a 5 year contract following the final of the Champions League.

The transfer ban, which means the players can sign contracts with FC Barcelona but cannot be registered, means that Aleix Vidal will not play for the club till January. Despite that, the player is ready to sign and train with his team mates such is his desire to move.

The Catalan player is currently with the Spanish Nation team and has been a key player for Seville on their march to Europa League title and narrowly missing out on 4th to finish 5th in La Liga.

FC Barcelona will pay Sevilla 10 million euros and there will be no add ons. There was speculation that the fee could be reduced by including Denis Suarez, who is on loan to Seville, but that was not the case in the end.
