FC Barcelona: Pedro Set For Inter Milan Switch

A host of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, are interested in the signature of Pedro Rodriguez. But they are going to miss out on the FC Barcelona winger as Italian side Inter Milan have made an initial approach to the Blaugrana and are confident of getting their man for a 16.5 million.

Pedro Rodriguez, 28, has been used sparingly by FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique. The winger has made only 18 appearances for FC Barcelona this season, scoring 5 goals in the process, and he is not happy with his current situation at the Catalan club.

FC Barcelona signed Luis Suarez as a partner for Leo Messi and Neymar in 2014. The arrival of Suarez has made a negative impact on the career of Pedro at FC Barcelona as this has reduced his playing opportunities.

Pedro thinks that he does not have a good future at FC Barcelona because of the limited playing opportunities and is looking for the pastures green.

Inter Milan now look certain to miss out o Europe again next season and coach Roberto Mancini has planned an overhaul of his squad in the summer.

The San Siro giants are certain to spend big in the summer and they want to sign at least one new attacker in July.

Roberto Mancini is been watching Pedro since past few months and considering the current situation of the winger at FC Barcelona, he is confident of luring him to Inter Milan in the summer.

English Premier League side Arsenal was the first to register an interest in Pedro but Inter Milan management is confident of beating the competition by offering FC Barcelona 16.5 million euros for the winger.

Meanwhile, reports coming from Italy and Spain have also confirmed the interest of Inter Milan in FC Barcelona winger.

Corriere Dello Sport has claimed it today that Inter Milan president decided to be very active in the next transfer window. The Italian team is actually looking to regain its place as one of the top clubs in Europe and for that purpose. FC Barcelona striker Pedro Rodriguez constitutes one of the main targets of the Italian club in the next transfer window.
