FC Barcelona Are Getting Better And Better: Rafinha

FC Barcelona players struggled to find their rhythm under new coach Luis Enrique in the early parts of this season. But it now looks as the thing of the past as the Catalans are looking in great shape. Barca midfielder Rafinha also believes that the team is finding its form back.

Rafinha, whose brother Tiago Alcanta left FC Barcelona to join Bayern Munich last year, is widely considered as the heir apparent of club legend Xavi Hernandez.

However, the youngster has so far failed to make into the starting XI of the club. But Rafinha said that he is happy with his situation at FC Barcelona.

a I’ve been getting better, getting more confidence, and I’d like to get more minutes. I’ll grade myself at the end of the season.”

a I feel quite comfortable in the team. I’m here to help.”

“In order to keep getting minutes on this team you have to constantly be showing what you can do.a

FC Barcelona has secured some highly impressive wins against the likes of Man City, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal in past few days and they are now considered as the favorites for upcoming Clasico against Real Madrid. Rafinha also believes that the Catalans are making a good progress.

a We’ve been getting better and better. There haven’t been any big changes. We just feel better with each game we play.a

Meanwhile, there is an ongoing controversy surrounding the venue of the Copa del Rey final. Both the finalists, FC Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, want to play the game at Real Madrida s Santiago Bernabeu. But the Los Blancos authorities are not happy with this idea. And Rafinha believes that it is a natural thing for Real Madrid fans to react negatively against this game.

a Any stadium is good. If it were in FC Barcelona, we’d be playing at home but, wherever it is, it’s still a final. The most important thing is to be there.”

a It’s normal that Real Madrid don’t want their stadium to be used. We have a rivalry. I don’t think Bar a fans would like it if Real Madrid were to play the final here.”
