FC Barceloa 0-1 Malaga: We Deserved To Lose, Says Luis Enrique

A disastrous stray back pass from Dani Alves to Juanmi helped Malaga to stun FC Barcelona in their own backyard. The Catalans failed miserably to create any chances throughout the match and coach Luis Enrique said after the game that his team deserves this loss.

The Blaugrana dominated the game from start to end but the attacking trio of FC Barcelona, Luis Suarez, Leo Messi and Neymar, failed to create any real chance in whole 90 minutes for the Catalans.

Dani Alves gave a back pass to Juanmi in the 7th minute and the striker made no mistake in capitalizing oN this blunder of the Brazilian. It proved enough for Malaga to secure a shocking win over FC Barcelona at Camp Nou.

FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was not satisfied with the efforts of his players and said after the game that they deserved to lose this game.

“We conceded a goal and we struggled to respond. We tried a lot of crosses because they let us play the ball wide, but we had no luck. The league is very long. We have to fix things because we have an important game on Tuesday.”
