Liverpool FC finished a disappointing sixth in the league table and first two casualties of the end of season review by club owners FSG have been assistant manager and the first team coach.
Pascoe had worked alongside the Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers since their Swansea City days and is the most high profile sacking following the review by Liverpool FC owners FSG.
Mike Marsh was one of the few Liverpudlians on the coaching staff at Liverpool FC. Marsh was an academy coach at the club since 2009. He became the first team coach following Rodgersa appointment as manager in 2012.
Brendan Rodgers did keep his job after a meeting with Tom Werner, the club chairman, and Mike Gordon, the president of FSG, but the duo insisted on making change at the coaching level.
Marsha s contract at Anfield was due to expire this month and he has been released while Pascoe had 12 months to run to his current deal but has been released by ‘mutual consent’.
Sky Sports were reporting that Bolo Zenden, who was a former player under Rafa Benitez and then went onto be his assistant during his time with Chelsea, and Sami Hyypia who had managed Bayer Leverkusen could be coming in as replacements. The list, it seems, will only grow.

On hearing the news, there were some interesting reactions by Liverpool FC fans. We bring you the best of them
Are FSG trying to show Rodgers up this season? Or are they just showing faith in him? Can’t figure it out

Pascoe leaving: not just FSG’s call, but Rodgers too. A recognition the coaching staff was below European standard and needs to be improved.

Very strange situation where most of Rodgers appointed Coaching Staff are being dismissed, yet the Captain of the ship remains!! #LFC

Many expressed thoughts Rodgers is an excellent coach let down by a lack of backroom experience. 2015-16 may prove a fine experiment. #lfc

Pascoe is a close friend. The fella was sacked by club suits. They still trust Rodgers, but want elite coaches to assist him. How i read it
