Fabregas: I Am Not Mediating Messi’s Move To Chelsea

Leading The Barcelona Juggernaut

Former Barcelona midfielder and Lionel Messi’s close friend, Francesc Fabregas has dozed off all rumors of Messi joining Chelsea. Messi, has been linked highly with a move away from Camp Nou, ever since he supposedly fell out with Barcelona’s coach and followed Chelsea on Instagram. The rumors intensified even more, when Messi missed a training session and Barcelona sacked their sporting director. Reports today showcased that Messi allegedly said that a 500 million pound deal, would be enough to acquire his services, alerting Chelsea and Manchester City, in the process. However Fabregas, said something which points that Chelsea might have used his services , in an attempt to lure Lionel Messi to Stamford Bridge.

a Ia m upset that they say that I could be mediating for Messi to come to Chelsea. How can I be talking about contracts… Ia m only a footballer.”said Fabregas.

Cesc Fabregas, also believes otherwise and asserts that Lionel Messi is happy with his current position at Barcelona.

a Messi is happy at Barca and they are happy with him.a

a I dona t know Luis Enrique. I do know Leo and I doubt very much that what is being said is happening, because hea s a very relaxed guy and Ia ve never seen any of that in the three years we spent together.” he added.

Fabregas, who was Messi’s teammate at Barcelona, agrees that he would (in future) love the opportunity to play alongside the Argentine striker.

a He (Messi) will do what makes him happiest. Personally, as his friend, colleague and footballer, if you gave me the chance to play with him again, I would welcome it.

Chelsea have been linked with Lionel Messi, for a deal expected to be worth around 250 million pounds. However, with the frantic transfer season commencing, wild speculation is bound to propagate like wildfire. The Blues have been stellar this campaign, and bidding for Messi means breaking the FFP rule, which could lead them from being banned in Europe.

However, the social media is at an all high, considering Messi to Chelsea speculations.

Chelsea, meanwhile, clash swords against Newcastle United, this weekend. The Blues would be out, looking for revenge as Newcastle United ended Chelsea’s 14 match unbeaten streak in the Premier League, last time around. The Blues have suffered a slight dip in form since then, and suffered a 5-3 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur. Although, fans might point to Mourinho’s failure to rotate his squad, ‘The Special One’ will hope to rally players under one banner and motivate them to deliver their level best.
