Liverpool FC Strikers Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert are expected to part company with the club over the next fortnight as per reports in Liverpool Echo.
.
Liverpool FC have snapped up Christian Benteke from Aston Villa, Danny Ings on a free transfer, and Divock Origi has returned from a spell out on loan to complete the second renewal in as many years for the Liverpool FC striker force.
Following the arrivals, it was clear that Fabio Borini and Ricky Lambert will no longer be a part of the Anfield strike force and recent reports are claiming that the duo are set to move away within the next fortnight.
Borini to Fiorentina or West Ham, Lambert to West Brom, Mario Balotelli to Sampdoria?
Fabio Borini was told at the end of last season to find himself a new club as per the Echo and his agent has confirmed hea s held talks with Fiorentina.
a Yes, we have spoken to Fiorentina, but are evaluating everything carefully,a Borini’s agent De Marchi told Radio Blu.
a Fabio will decide also based on Liverpoola s needs. We are looking for an important project in Italy or elsewhere, but for the moment he doesna t have a preference.a
Marco De Marchi has also told Liverpool FC to expect a bid from West Ham but it has yet to arrive as per the Echo.
Lambert meanwhile, has attracted interest form West Brom and is expected to leave his boyhood club, too, in the coming days.
Mario Balotelli, too, is expected to leave eventually, if not in a fortnight, having struggled at Liverpool FC with player linked with a possible exit to Sampdoria for a while, now.
Balotelli is certain to leave Anfield and Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce had earlier said:
a I would be absolutely amazed if Mario Balotelli was still a Liverpool player on the first day of next season. You only have to look at how fleetingly he was used last season to see where he stands.a
a I certainly expect Balotelli to move, possibly to Sampdoria, but Liverpool may struggle to get even half of what they paid for him (A?16m).a
Liverpool FC may have to settle for a loss on the player, his wages, reportedly 6 million Euro per season could be a stumbling block to make a move to Sampdoria.
But with Euro 2016 in the summer following the 15-16 season, Balotelli will want to start firing again and may very well consider the move.
