Contradicting Reports Emerge On Manchester United ai??i?? Schneiderlin Deal

Telegraph claims that Morgan Schneiderlin will undergo medical in 48 hours, while according to Sky Sports, his move to Manchester United is on hold. .

Just when the Morgan Schneiderlin saga seemed to have been heading towards its conclusion, Sky Sports reports that the deal for his transfer to Manchester United is far from over.

The midfieldera s future has remained under constant speculation during the last two seasons. The French international has been one of the most consistent midfielders in the Premier League since Southampton were promoted to the top division. The dynamic midfielder was subject of interest for both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur last summer, but Southampton managed to hold on to their prized asset.

Schneiderlin has once again been linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United in this transfer window. The Gunners though seemed to have pulled out of the race, and the Old Trafford seems to be his likeliest destination. Manchester United are looking for a long-term replacement of Michael Carrick, who has also struggled with his fitness. Louis van Gaal sees the Frenchman as a vital piece of his plans for next season.

The 25-year-old midfielder has earlier confirmed that a negotiations are ongoinga and that he will like to sort out his future before the preseason training begins with Southampton. But he did report to training yesterday, and his future is far from being resolved.

Despite reports claiming Manchester United have made an offer for Schneiderlin, Southampton manager Ronald Koeman insisted that they are yet to receive a a seriousa bid from the Red Devils.

“We have some doubts about players. We have the situation with Morgan Schneiderlin, we will have to wait what will happen.

“Until now, we have not a serious bid for him from Man United. We will wait, but OK – that’s business that normally starts from now.” a Koeman told Sky Sports.

Earlier today, Telegraph reported that Manchester United will complete the signing of Schneiderlin before the end of this week, for a fee of A?24 million. They went on to claim that Schneiderlin will travel to Old Trafford to undergo his medical within the next couple of days.

The above news however contradicts what Sky Sports are reporting though. According to Sky, Schneiderlina s move to Old Trafford is currently on hold. They claim that United are yet to return with a second bid after their initial bid of A?25 million was rejected; Southampton felt that the bid didna t match their valuation of the player.

It seems this transfer saga isna t destined for a finale anytime soon at the moment, with contradicting claims being made by various sources.
