DFB Pokal: FC Bayern Munich Draws Darmstadt In Round 3; Borussia Dortmund face Augsburg

FC Bayern Munich will face fellow Bundesliga side Darmstadt at home in the third round of the German Cup following Sunday’s draw while Borussia Dortmund travel to Augsburg.

Having knocked holders Wolfsburg out of the cup with a 3-1 win last Tuesday in the second round, Pep Guardiola’s Bavarian giants will host Darmstadt at Munich’s Allianz Arena when the next round is played on December 15/16.

Having hammered second-division Paderborn 7-1, Thomas Tuchel’s high-flying Dortmund face a trek to play Bundesliga bottom side Augsburg for a place in the quarter-finals.

Bavarian minnows Unterhaching from the fourth division, the only amateur side left in the draw, are at home to Champions League hopefuls Bayer Leverkusen.
