.

Liverpool are expected to announce the appointment of England Under-19 head coach, Sean Oa Driscoll, as the sidea s new assistant manager on Monday and are looking for another coach to bolster the backroom staff as per reports in the Telegraph.

Who the third Liverpool FC coaching addition may be isna t reported as yet, but, names such as Gary McAllister, Rene Muelensteen, Sami Hyypia, and Bolo Zenden have been previously linked with the coaching role at the club.

Brendan Rodgers agreed to the dismissal of his long-serving assistant Colin Pascoe and first-team coach Mike Marsh during an end-of-season performance review with FSG, the owners of Liverpool FC.

The manager managed to keep his job in the meeting with Tom Werner, the club chairman, and Mike Gordon, the president of FSG, but the duo insisted on making change at the coaching level leading to the dismissal of the two men.

Colin Pascoe was Rodgersa long time confidante and it looked like the Liverpool FC boss had been left isolated by the departures. However, the arrival of Oa Driscoll on Monday, who Rodgers is a long term admirer of, should clear any doubt that the manager is being allowed to bring his own people.

Rodgers spoke about Oa Driscoll in October 2013, heaping praise on the then Bristol City manager.

a We need to stop blaming the players,a Rodgers said at the time. a The players get the blame in this country. No, it is the coaching. The problem is that the guys who are a that typea of coach you never hear of them really. Look at Sean Oa Driscoll. He is one of the best coaches I have ever come across. He is working at Bristol City. He has never had a chance in the top flight. His teams were expressive, had movement, they were technical, but he will probably never get a chance at a higher level.a

The 57 year-old has managed Bournemouth, Doncaster Rovers, Crawley Town, Nottingham Forest and Bristol City and last September, he was appointed as the outgoing Noel Blakea s successor with England Under-19s.

It does look like with addition of O’Driscoll and the third new coach will be done before Liverpool FC begins it’s tour of Australia and the Far East on July 12.
