Borussia Dortmund Midfielder Shinji Kagawa Misses Open Goal From 5 Yards

. Former Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa failed to score in an open goal from 5 yards out against Cambodia.

The Broussia Dortmund midfielder has already scored 21 goals for his country but failed to make the most of one of the easiest chances in the 3-0 win over Cambodia in the second World Cup qualifier.

Kagawa burst through the middle and got into an excellent position, where he was picked out by a brilliant cross from the left wing but the Japanese missed a sitter.

The 26-year-old has over 100 goals to his name at club level, but this has to be the easiest of chances that was gifted to him on a plate but the Japanese passed it straight to the keeper. Kagawa looked furious with himself as he went and hugged the post before kicking it.

The midfielder did take his international tally to 22 goals, when he scored from inside the box after a mix up between the Cambodian defenders.
