Bild Reveals Klopp’s Salary As Liverpool FC Delay The Official Announcement

Following the sacking OF Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool FC are expected to announce the odds on favourite, Jurgen Klopp, as their new manager on Thursday. But German publication Bild, on Thursday, disclosed the reasons behind the delay in the official confirmation.

 

Klopp, expected to sign on the dotted lines, is discussing the finer details of his contract with Liverpool FC along with his advisor Marc Kosicke and depending upon the negotiations, the Reds could officially announce Klopp as early as Friday lunchtime.

According to Bild, Klopp is expected to earn an annual salary of 10 million euros at Liverpool FC . Jose Mourinho, after his latest contract extension with Chelsea FC, is estimated to earn a salary of around 11.5 million euros, which means that it could be quite a costly affair for Liverpool FC if things dona t go smoothly.

Bild also reports that delay is because both parties have yet to agree on two minute details in the contract. The Reds insists that the German accommodates Sean Oa Driscoll and Gary McAllister in his first team staff. Both Oa Driscoll and McAllister were signed ahead of the season and Liverpool FC are reclutant to let them go. While Klopp wants to bring in his trusted lieutenants Zeljko Buvac and video analyst Peter Krawietz with him. Buvac, nicknamed a The Braina , is known to be quite close to the former Borussia Dortmund manager.

Another sticking point between the two parties, is the now infamous a Transfer Committee.a Klopp is reported to have demanded from FSG that he has the final say regarding transfers at Liverpool FC.

Despite all the delay, Bild reports that Klopp, who is a childhood supporter of Liverpool FC, would provide the fans a degree of comfort as they wait for their new manager to take up the reigns.
