Paulo Dybala is one of the most in demand striker of whole Europe at the moment and he is certain to leave Palermo in the summer transfer window. Italian champions Juventus are vying for his signature but it appears that Arsenal are leading the race as the Gunners have already opened talks with the management of Palermo.
Paulo Dybala, 21, has made 28 appearance for Serie A side Palermo this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 7 assists in process. These impressive stats of the youngster has caught the attention of some of Europea s biggest clubs and Juventus and Arsenal are currently leading the race for his signature. Of late, reports coming from Spain have claimed that FC Barcelona are also keeping a close eye on the development of the youngster.
Italian champions Juventus are looking for a world class striker in the market as Carlos Tevez has already made it clear that he intends to leave the club next year. Juventus do have the likes of Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata in their squad but Max Allegri is not fully convinced with their ability yet and he wants to sign another striker.
Arsenal are aware of this interest of Juventus in Paulo Dybala and the management of the club has decided to act quickly to beat the Bianconori for the signature of the youngster.
Arsenal are currently well equiped with strikers as Arsene Wenger has the likes of Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck at his disposal.
But, in order to remain equally competitive in all three tournaments next season, Arsenal authorities want to increase the depth of their squad and have identified Paulo Dybala as their prime target.
Palermo president Zamparini has already stated that Paulo Dybala is available in the market and Arsenal authorities have opened the talks with the Italian club in order to complete the transfer as early as possible.
Meanwhile, reports coming from Italy and England have also confirmed the ongoing talks between Arsenal and Palermo.
Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has claimed that Paulo Dybala has been one of the biggest stars in Serie A this season, and while Palermo would like to keep him his contract expires in June of 2016. Arsenal has been following for quite some time, their meeting with Palermo’s president Zamparini is now confirmed.
