Despite signing two players in the January transfer window, Arsenal could make a deadline day signing as rumours of Gunnersa interest in Moussa Sissoko continue to make rounds. According to The Independent, Newcastle United could be convinced to let the midfielder go, but it would take ridiculous amount of money to secure the deal.
The Frenchman has been repeatedly linked with a move away from St. Jamesa Park and also expressed his desire to join Arsenal. The midfielder expressed that Arsenal made him dream in his younger days but also contradicted his statement by insisting that he is happy to play for Newcastle.

“For now, I’m a Newcastle player and I am happy at the club. I want to play in major competitions and I want to do it with this team.”
Newcastle manager has made it clear that the Frenchman is going nowhere but also said that a huge offer could change his mind.
“If you see the way he trains and the way he is playing, I am telling you now – he is going nowhere,” said Carver.
“Unless somebody comes in with a ridiculous amount of money, he is going nowhere. He is focused and he has got his mind on the job. He has been absolutely first class.a
Craver revealed that a bid of A?50 million will be needed to see the deal through; however, Arsenal could try for a much lesser bid in the region of A?20 million to grab the player.
On the other hand, another France international seems set to join the Gunners. Morgan Schneiderlin has been linked with an Arsenal move for a while now but a January deal will not fall through.
French newspaper La Equipe claims that the 25-year-old has agreed to join Arsenal at the end of the season. The Gunners will have to pay A?15 million to seal the deal and the midfielder who was rumoured to leave Southampton last summer will snub Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United to join the North London club.
Arsene Wenger looks content with his two January signings but also reflected that if a right offer comes his way, he could add a third player to his squad.
“I don’t think I will be busy,” he said. “We have done what we wanted and, unless there is a huge surprise and somebody calls me, then why not? (But) at the moment, nothing. It’s very quiet.”
