Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Says That He Draws Inspiration From Bob Marley And His Songs

The professor of the world of football devotes most of what he does to the game itself and it seems that even his philosophy of football has drawn some inspiration from his musical taste. Wenger said that he draws his inspiration from the great musician Bob Marley and his songs.

“Yes, I love his [Bob Marleya s] music and the man that he was. He was not ‘fabricated’, he was real. I love people who do not have conventional paths and who stand out because of their talent,” said Wenger to French outlet Le Parisien.

Wenger has always been known to favour a free-flowing style of football, that is both entertaining and skillful. Although this style of football has not always brought the desired results, like a true professor, the Arsenal FC manager has remained true to his philosophy, showing the world that the ends do not justify the means.

Rigours of the Premier League showing on Wenger?

Well being a Premier League manager is not exactly a walk in the park, especially in a big club like Arsenal FC, where the stakes are much higher. The Frenchman has been under a lot of pressure because of his job, and he believes that this has made his face look like he has not had a proper bowel movement.

“With my job, I am often stressed, so I might appear a bit like a constipated person,” said the Arsenal FC manager.

However, he also said that his “constipated” face is mainly for those in the media, and that when he is around his friends and family, he is a much more relaxed man.

.

“But I like to laugh when I am with my friends and to let my humorous side reign free, something that I obviously cannot do in front of the media,” he said.
