With the season fast approaching to an end, Marco Reus has refused to rule out a move away from Dortmund, claiming that it is every playerai??i??s dream to ai???win titlesai??i?? in his career.
The German midfielder has been instrumental for Borussia Dortmund in the past couple of seasons and is set to play an integral role for the Germans in the upcoming World Cup. The talismanic midfielder has earned a name for himself in Europe and has been continuously linked with a move to Manchester United in the coming transfer window.
It was earlier reported that Reus was offered a contract extension at Dortmund even though his current contract runs till 2017. This was allegedly done to increase the release clause in the playerai??i??s current contract as Dortmund are keen to hold on to their star player. Having lost Kagawa, Gotze and due to lose Lewandowski in successive seasons, Borussia Dortmund had stated in clear terms that they would be looking to tie down their current players in order to ensure they do not leave the German side.
However Marco Reus has decided to keep quiet about the alleged new contract offer, choosing instead to comment on his desire to win trophies, hence keeping his options open.

The player seemed to be quite open about his future, stating in clear terms that he only has one career and would like to make the most out of it, suggesting that he was not against a move away from Dortmund. As reportedAi??earlier, Mario Gotze had himself revealed that Reus was always keen to be a part of the Red Devils which indicates that there is a real possibility of him moving to Manchester this summer. Manchester United lack quality wingers in their squad and if Van Gaal does take over the reins post World Cup, Reus will fit exceptionally well in his pacy, attacking set-up at Old Trafford. United certainly will have the money to finance a move and will be able to meet his release clause if any. With the player not refusing any such rumour, it seems that the Reus transfer saga is definitely one for the future.
