Manchester United will miss both Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in their crucial trip to face Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
Manchester United are currently 7th in the league table and according to most they are already out of the title race and will have to improve a lot in order to grab a top four spot given the competition this season. Most of their problems have been due to their poor home form this season, where they have won only five of their 11 matches so far. But it must also be considered that David Moyes and Manchester United have had to deal with a lot of injuries so far this season as well, specially to some of the most key players in the side.
Unitedai??i??s talisman Wayne Rooney has missed every game since their 1-2 defeat at the hands of Totteham Hotspur with a groin problem and recently he was sent on a hot weather break to recover from this injury. Moyes was hoping that the striker returns to full fitness ahead of this clash against Chelsea, but now the former Everton manager has revealed that the striker is not yet ready to participate in this match and has refused to quote a return date for him.

Moyes revealed that Fellainiai??i??s cast has been taken off and he could be back next week in training. Jones and Young have also made good progress in their recovery and could be available for this game as well ai??i?? although neither of them are expected to start.

“Fellaini will have the cast taken off his hand on Monday. I’ve heard one or two people say it was only a wrist injury but it was a serious wrist injury that needed a major operation. It was bad. It could have been for the rest of his life so we had to make sure he got his wrist sorted properly. He has been able to do lots of running and lots of training but not anything with a football. Hopefully, next week, we will get ‘Felli’ back.
