Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller has confirmed that he is not going to leave the Allianz Arena but stressed that he cannot assure his current employers that he will remain forever with them after being linked with Manchester United.
In their first season without Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United have endured a disastrous season and are set to miss any European competition in 2014-15 for the first time in many decades. It is being consistently reported that United management is going to overhaul their ageing squad completely in the summer and Muller is their primary target, along with fellow German Toni Kroos.
Now, Muller himself has come forward to squash any rumours linking him with the English champions.
“I didn’t invent the rumours, so I can’t comment on them,” he told German newspaperAi??Bild.
“Let’s say this: I’m certainly not about to move but I can’t guarantee that forever.”
Bayern Munich lost 5-0 to their fierce European rivals Real Madrid this week and Muller is very disappointed with the loss. He said: “Of course it hurts, but you have to be honest and say that Real Madrid were better than us over both legs. After all, we lost 5-0.
“But this criticism just goes to show our quality. Many people expected us to retain the treble.”
In this prolonged interview, Mulles also give his opinion about the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.

“The Germany team are one of the favourites, like Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Italy. And Netherlands are like a secret favourite this year.
