Manchester United – Moyes Receives Warning And A Fine From The FA For Misconduct

Manchester United manager David Moyes has been warned and fined A?8,000Ai??by the FA following charges of misconduct in his post match comments at Sunderland.

Manchester United lost on their trip to Sunderland at the start of this month in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final clash. At that point it was their third defeat in a row and the pressure clearly got to David Moyes as he vented his disappointment on the officials in his post-match interview. Moyes was furious about the penalty which was handed over to Sunderland in the second half and Fabio Boriniai??i??s goal from the spot proved to be the winner in the end. The former Everton boss pointed out that Manchester United players were booked for simulation in a similar incident in the previous matches and stated that they were having to play against the officials as well, along with the opponents on the pitch.
