Chelsea legend Didier Drogba started due to injuries to Remy and Costa, and the stalwart came up with yet another big game performance, as he headed home a corner in the second half to put his team ahead.
Despite very little training, the Ivorian looked a threat and Mourinho was very pleased with his strikerai??i??s performance.

Referee Phil Dowd came under scrutiny for his decisions during the match, and Mourinho refused to speak about him, citing multiple instances where he felt his team did not get the right decision.
Branislav Ivanovic saw red in the dying ambers of the game, and Mourinho made his displeasure at the decision quote evident.
“The red card, I was seeing it coming. If I have to speak about the second yellow I have to speak about lots of things.

The late red card saw Chelsea lose one of their markers at set-pieces, and Fellaini took full advantage of Ivanovicai??i??s absence to head the corner on goal. Courtoisai??i?? save fell kindly for Robin van Persie who smashed home to salvage a point for the hosts.
